Janet L. Ours, RN, JD
Janet Ours has over 25 years of experience in clinical nursing and now practices health law and family law. With her background in working with people in crisis, Janet focuses on building family cooperation and working toward successful resolution of disputes. Janet is a member of The American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, The American Association of Nurse Attorneys, the Prince William Bar Association, and the American Association of Trial Attorneys.
Michael C. Fasano, JD
Michael C .Fasano Graduated with distinction from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics before traveling to New York to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Fordham University School of Law. After practicing in Labor and Employment at a law firm in Midtown Manhattan, he returned home to Northern Virginia to pursue civil and criminal trial work.
Mr. Fasano's experience in family law spans nearly two decades and consists of hundreds of contested divorce, custody, visitation, and child support cases in Prince William County and surrounding counties. He also has extensive experience in criminal defense of both misdemeanor and felony cases. He was awarded the distinction of being named the 2009 Court-Appointed Attorney of the Year by the Prince William County Bar Association.
Keeping a health work life balance, he also is a driver for the Sparrow Speed Endurance Racing Team, a certified National Auto Sport Association high performance driving instructor and can often be found working on his 1987 Firebird Formula or his track only 370Z.
Stephanie Stinson, JD
Stephanie Stinson is a senior associate with Old Town Advocates, P.C., practicing all areas of family law. She is certified as a Guardian ad Litem and represents children in custody, visitation, abuse, neglect, and delinquency cases. Stephanie was awarded the 2020 Guardian ad Litem of the Year Award in the Prince William County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
